CHALLENGE YOUTH CONFERENCE
The vision of CYC is to maintain a positive program, which empowers our teenagers with sound teaching and challenges/encourages them to live their lives for Christ. This program is developed by a planning board of ministers that serve under strong, solid, and proven elderships. Additionally, it is the vision of CYC that those participating on the program be capable and proven speakers, teachers, song leaders, etc. Furthermore, that they are well respected in the brotherhood, and that they have proven and respected ability to lead and challenge our teens to becoming spiritually mature pillars of the church of Christ.
LADS TO LEADERS
Since their foundation in 1968, the mission of L2L has been to develop youth into Christian leaders. From a group of eight boys in that first year to more than 20,000 today, they have continued that mission with astonishing success!
MAYWOOD CHRISTIAN CAMP
Maywood Christian Camp operates nine weeks throughout the summer of each year. Each week of camp is directed by a man or group of men who have a great deal of love for youth and Christian camping. These men select a dedicated group of counselors and other support staff to operate the week of camp. Everyone works hard to help the campers have fun and, more importantly, encourage, motivate, and teach them to be better Christian young people.
RUSH
Every fall, 2,000 middle and high school students from across the country go to Freed-Hardeman University to experience an unforgettable weekend. At RUSH, they engage in meaningful worship, participate in memorable classes, and listen to dynamic lessons, designed to help them grow closer to God and other Christians.
KIDS DAYS
Kid’s day is a weekly activity during the summer for the Junior Youth Group to come and hear a lesson and participate in activities designed to help them remember the lesson. They get to play games, make crafts and sing songs all centered around God’s word.
