Ministers and Staff
Adam and his family moved to Florence, Alabama after preaching 10 years for the congregation in Seneca, SC. He and his wife Autumn both grew up in South Carolina and attended Freed-Hardeman University together, getting married after their freshman year in 1997. He finished a Bachelors Degree in 1999 with a double major in Bible and Communication, then a Masters in Ministry with a Post Graduate Certificate in Counseling for Church Leaders. They now have 3 amazing children- Kaitlyn, Logan, and Macey. They are proud homeschoolers and while they may not enjoy EVERYTHING that it entails all of the time, they are happy to be able to travel often as a family and experience the world together. Adam is on the Board of Directors at Palmetto Bible Camp- where he directs the 5th week each summer; East Coast Evangelism Conference- held the first weekend in November; and serves on the Executive Committee for the Exposure Youth Camp- December 27-30 in Atlanta each year. He is also a certified Firefighter and Medical responder, volunteering with the Underwood-Petersville VFD. These reasons, plus a few more, are why his church office is usually so disorganized.
Dustin is from Hohenwald, TN and a graduate of Freed-Hardeman University (2008) with a degree in Youth Ministry. He has worked with the Petersville youth program since graduation, and married Faith that same year. They have three children, Jack, Emma, and Lila.
Susie has attended Petersville since 1980. She and her husband Wade, who serves as a deacon, have two sons Bradley and Tyler, two wonderful daughters-in-law, April and Jessica, and a precious grand-daughter, Ruthie. She has served as the church secretary/bookkeeper since 1998. Susie loves to serve and help others and thankful that God has allowed her the health and opportunity to do it. As well as being involved in several aspects of the church work here, she is also involved in other outreaches and programs within the area and community.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways submit to Him and He will make your paths straight.” (Prov. 3:5-6)
